A photographer's plea to wedding guests has gone viral, after he urged them to stop using their smartphones to take pictures at weddings.
It all started when Australian Thomas Stewart took a picture at a wedding of the groom glimpsing his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle.
The moment was slightly dampened by the future husband having to lean out so he could see past all the guests raising their smartphones to take pics of the bride.

Thomas realised that this situation was one that occurred too often, so he decided to have a stern word with guests in a Facebook post that has since been shared over 65,000 times.
He wrote, "Right, I've had enough. I want to talk to you all about guests using mobile phones / cameras at weddings. I want to plead with you, and I'm going to make this very simple: brides and grooms, please have a completely unplugged wedding ceremony.
"Look at this photo. This groom had to lean out past the aisle just to see his bride approaching. Why? Because guests with their phones were in the aisle and in his way.
"This sucks. And i'm not blaming these guests in particular; I actually take a large amount of responsibility for this occurring. In the past I should have been more specific with my clients in explaining to them why guests should be told no photos. Well, from now on, I'm going to make a pretty big deal about it."
He went on to list ways in which future brides and grooms could tackle the problem, including adding a line in wedding invitations about banning all technology on their big day.
He finished off asking guests to "leave your cameras at home and put your phones / ipads away."
Many agreed with Thomas, saying they'd been to many a wedding ruined by guests and their phones, but others said they didn't mind, as they loved having intimate snaps from their guests.
